RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY
Returns & Refunds
We will refund or replace any items that you are not completely satsified with, within 7 days of receipt as long as the goods are returned with their original packaging, have not been used and are in the condition they were when received. We will not be liable for the cost of shipping/handling returned goods, except where the goods are faulty. If you are returning faulty goods, ask the Post Office for a free certificate of postage. If you pay for an item through Paypal and then subsequently cancel or send it back because you no longer require it, then we shall refund the net Paypal payment (your payment minus commission)since this is what we shall have recieved

Customers must be aware however that when they are purchasing antiques and vintage items, they will not look brand new. Customers who buy antique and vintage items buy them precisely because of their older and more imperfect look. We detail any imperfection and restoration. Likewise our ethically traded eco and hand crafted products will manifest their individuality and artisan quality. No product will be exactly the same.
CONSUMER PROTECTION AND CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
We describe our products according to the official descriptions of our suppliers. Antique and vintage products are described to the best of our ability. Any fault or restoration is detailed in the description. Customers must be aware however that when they are purchasing antiques and vintage items, they will not look brand new.
We make every effort not to make errors when typing in our prices but we reserve the right to refuse a purchase if we find that the price displayed is not correct. For example we could not allow a £1500 item to be sold for £150 because we in error missed off a zero.

Credit card security
All Active Interiors online transactions are processed via Pay Pals secure payment website. Active Interiors does not see your credit card information. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to their site, their server checks that you're using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.
